Upon Reflecting On Life

Upon Reflecting On Life
#7 I don't go down without a tough fight.

No matter what happens today, tomorrow, or whenever,
I'll still put my trust in God and thank him for everything.

So, lets go

Hey wait hey don't you want
To hear what I have to say
Hey wait hey don't you know
This is where the strong will go on

All I ever wanted
Was you

All That I Know Is I'm Breathing

#6 I do wonder if everything is just a dream. Maybe I'm in a deep deep sleep. Maybe I'm lying in a bed in a warm house, a office chair in a cubicle, a bench in a park. On the floor in the middle of nowhere.

I am my own greatest enemy
Because of what i do that i stand to lose

I don't want to lose you.

I don't want to lose you

I want to believe in more than you and me.

Chain Of Thought

Frozen

#5 I like to take out my goggles and take a deep breath and sit underwater as long as i can, eyes open, watching the ripples above me and thinking. It calms me.

I woke dreaming we had broke
Dreaming you left me for someone new,

If you broke down every day into a memory, every memory into a moment, every moment into a second, and carefully watched it while time crawls by slowly, and for that split second, you remembered those bubbles. Bubbles that were captured in a heartbeat; perhaps a single bubble your little eye spied, particularly shiny, particularly round. Or because it reminded you of that scene in a movie, the drowning of Anne Lively in Minority Report; Maybe you wonder if this is the last thing you would ever see if you drowned. And perhaps the air in that bubble was once breathed in by your ancestors, maybe by Hitler (Is insanity airbourne), maybe even Jesus. And was that breath air the very first bit of air when God created the world? And you wonder if She breathed in that breath of air too; and the oxygen that runs through her veins, through her mind (Was she thinking of you?); into her heart (Were you in her heart?) and pumped right back into her lungs and exhaled and

now you're out of breath and you kick and you squirm and you surface for air, and forget. And forget about what you thought about; take a deep breath, diving back underwater to swim and suddenly the bubbles are just little things holding precious air to keep you alive.

But this is the way I need to wake
I'll wake to you, and you never left me
All that I dreamt had been untrue
Open my eyes I see sky

EDIT: To round it off i quote:

"we hear about him in school from time to time, we don’t really know him."

It's about time i got a wake up call like that. I don't mind a little help too.

#4 I'm a pessimist with an optimistic outlook. How that works out, I can't explain, but its just like that.

Passing Time On Plastic Horses

Passing Time On Plastic Horses (Oh The Bright Lights)

#3 Sometimes I can be really frank and straight to the point when the situation calls for it. My honest opinion does not shake you up; it punches you in the face.

You know IB is taking a toll on you when you wake up with your hand cupped around mouth with an imaginary phone at your ear and you're mumbling "I'm sorry, I can't be bought."

Thankfully its just her asking if i had a barcode number. Or else it would have sounded as though the devil was making a deal with me:

Devil: How about your soul for total release from the horrors of IB!

Me: (Mumbles) Hm?

Devil: No EE! No world lits! You won't have to sit for the dreaded exams in November!

Me: (Sudden realisation) Be gone you piece of satanic f***!!

Devil: I could throw in a gauranteed 45 points~

Me: ...

Me: I'm sorry I can't be bought.

Although IB is hell, it can't beat actual hell. No?

Strangely, i was attempting to cover up the fact that I was talking on the phone when my dad came in, which was an utter failure. I got a feeling I was mumbling something along the lines of "ByeIgottago, dad'shere, callyoubacksoon!" and jabbing the imaginary hang up key in an obviously futile manner while staring blankly at the 'handphone' in my hand.

Maybe there was something in the cookies mom baked last night.

Or maybe I'm just going mad.

Drops Of Jupiter

Raindrops

Now that she's back in the atmosphere

#2 I wish I wrote Drop Of Jupiter. Be it mainstream, overplayed, overused, over interpreted or overrated, I don't care. I think its an awesome song, especially the lyrics.

I'm afraid that she might think of me as plain ol' Jane
Told a story about a man who is too afraid to fly so he never did land

Did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there?

Take One A Day Lest You Should Forget

Take One A Day Lest You Should Forget

I wake up in the morning and i find myself asking my drowsy self: "How much do you want her? Study hard or face the consequences! Your fault! Your mistakes! You screwed up once before and this is how you pay! It's your fault if it doesn't work out because you're slacking! Then don't say you wish you could turn back time and you'll give anything and you'll cut 10 years of your life and..."

I digress. I like this photo. I put in a lot of heart and work to get this 1/60th of a second; barely a breath. But its worth it. I hope You like it too. I sent it in to some Olympus Valentine's Day competition for fun too.

Anyway time to study hard. Rid of distractions. Slack attitude. Laziness. Procrastination.

"You know-"
"Yes I know"

I'm slacking now. Sigh.

Okay back to work now.

#1 I like rainy days. Its so noisy with the pitter patter but yet so peaceful. And raindrops are so mesmerizing, like look into them and its like seeing this upside down world in a fishbowl which just goes and goes and goes and

Sometimes it feels like someone somewhere, out there, is laughing at me. Ohwell.

Yes I shall study hard

Everyone In This Room, They've Got Troubles Too

"Better use of paper?"
"Yeah?"
"Better use of paper?!"
"Yea."

I feel happy that there is a fan of my photos who is complaining that i'm not updating, so here is a whole lot of photos! (Its about time to update though)

I gotta get out of here,
And I'm begging you, I'm begging you, to be my escape

Anyway, since the start of the year, everything has been a rush and within a second, whoa, its February. How (unpleasantly) fast. Suddenly i forget my camera functions, my colourful-makeshift-drawing notebook has yet to be coloured, and has been removed from my backpack to make space for Miss Julie and art suddenly seems so difficult. Not as difficult as HL Maths (Ah, the art of positive thinking)

And I have about half a roll of film in my holga which has yet to see the light of day (or the glows of night)

Sigh.

EE calls once again.

"Work hard Brian!" Brian says, "For time could rush by in the blink of an eye!"

Maybe i will make my background black so the pictures can stand out more.

;

i dreamed i was dying

as i so often do;

and when i awoke

i was sure it was true.

i ran to the window

threw my head to the sky,

and said whoever is up there, please don't let me die
